Detour's Mainstage troupe produces a minimum of two major Broadway shows each production season. Actors get to work with a musical director, talented designers, and skilled coaches who support their work. Actors rehearse 1-3 times per week (depending on their role) for each production.
Mainstage After Dark productions tackle more mature subject matter and themes that carry deeper relevance today.

BOOTs Camp is made up of new actors, first-time Detour actors and actors who prefer a smaller setting and an emphasis on skill work, rather than performance. Each session culminates with an in-house sharing. Participation in BOOTs Camp is a prerequisite to joining the Main Stage Troupe. BOOTs Camp meets weekly.
Past Summer Workshops have included improv, storytelling, singing, musical theatre, and more! These workshops are typically offered through the month of June-July. Classes are open to Detour actors and new-timers.
Our traveling troupe takes the message and heart of Detour on the road. It is made up of a selected group seasoned Detour actors. Rehearsal and performance times vary for this group.
